Playable converts your files entirely on your device. Here's exactly what that means, and what limited data is involved in keeping the app free.
Last updated: October 3, 2026
Every video and audio conversion in Playable happens entirely on your iPhone or iPad. Your files are never uploaded to any server — Wasaz AI Solutions does not have a server to upload them to, and never sees, stores, or has access to the contents of any file you convert. Your files are also never shared with our advertising partner or any other third party.
Playable does not require an account, a login, or any personal information to use. We don't operate our own analytics or tracking inside the app, and we don't know who you are, what files you've converted, or what's in them.
Playable is free to use because it shows ads provided by Google AdMob. This takes three forms:
To show ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure ad performance and prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK built into the app may collect:
This data is collected and processed by Google under its own policies. It never includes your files or anything inside them. Learn more in how Google uses information from apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
Playable gives you a small number of free, standard-quality conversions each day; beyond that, or any time you'd rather skip the short ad, you can watch a rewarded ad for a full-quality conversion with no daily limit. This daily count is stored only in your device's local app storage — it is never sent anywhere, tied to your identity, or visible to us. If you convert a file while offline, it still counts against this daily total, since no ad can be shown to offset it; once the day's free conversions are used up, converting again requires an internet connection to watch a rewarded ad.
The first time you convert a file, iOS will ask whether Playable can track your activity across other companies' apps and websites. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track," Playable cannot access your device's advertising identifier and you'll see less personalized ads. Every feature of the app still works either way.
You can change this at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. Where required by law, such as in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, you'll also be asked for consent before personalized ads are shown.
If you grant permission, Playable can send a local notification when a conversion finishes while the app is in the background. This notification is generated entirely on your device and is never sent through any external service — it simply tells you a file is ready.
Playable requests photo-library add-access only if you choose to save a converted video back to your photo library. This permission is not required to use the rest of the app — picking files, converting them, and sharing your results need no photo-library permission at all.
Playable uses FFmpeg, licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL) version 3, to support a wide range of video and audio formats. FFmpeg's source code has not been modified. FFmpeg is a trademark of Fabrice Bellard, originator of the FFmpeg project.
Playable is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of Playable after a change means you accept the updated policy.
Questions about this policy or how Playable handles data can be sent through our contact page or to support@wasazaisols.com.
