ZebraQR generates every QR code entirely on your device. Here's exactly what that means, and what limited data is involved in showing ads.
Last updated: October 5, 2026
Every QR code you create in ZebraQR — Website, Text, Wi-Fi, Contact, Email, Phone, or SMS, individually or in a batch — is generated entirely on your iPhone or iPad using Apple's own CoreImage framework, built directly into iOS. Nothing you type into ZebraQR — a link, a Wi-Fi password, a contact's phone number, a message — is ever uploaded to any server. Wasaz AI Solutions does not have a server to upload it to, and never sees, stores, or has access to the content of any QR code you generate.
ZebraQR is free to use because it shows ads provided by Google AdMob, including banner ads, short full-screen ads, and optional rewarded ads you choose to watch. To show ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure ad performance and prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK built into the app may collect:
This data is collected and processed by Google under its own policies. It never includes the content of any QR code you create, or anything you type into ZebraQR. Learn more in how Google uses information from apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
When your device is offline, ZebraQR shows no ads and still works.
iOS may ask whether ZebraQR can track your activity across other companies' apps and websites. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track," ZebraQR cannot access your device's advertising identifier and you'll see less personalized ads. Every feature of the app still works either way.
You can change this at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. Where required by law, such as in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, you'll also be asked for consent before personalized ads are shown.
ZebraQR does not require an account, a login, or any personal information to use. We don't operate our own analytics or tracking inside the app, and we don't know who you are, what QR codes you've generated, or what they contain.
To apply the daily limit on free generations, ZebraQR keeps a simple count of how many you've used today. This count stays on your device and is never sent anywhere.
ZebraQR only requests Photos access, and only at the moment you tap "Save to Photos" — it's used solely to add the QR code image you just generated to your library. ZebraQR never reads your existing photos, and does not request camera, location, or any other special permission.
The only other permission ZebraQR may request is the tracking permission described above, which is optional.
QR codes you generate with ZebraQR are saved to your Photos library or shared directly through the standard iOS share sheet (Messages, Mail, AirDrop, and similar) — wherever you choose to send them. Batch exports are delivered as a single ZIP file through the same share sheet. ZebraQR keeps a local History list of the individual codes you create so you can find them again quickly; this list stays on your device and is only shared, exported, or deleted when you choose to do so. Batch exports are not saved to History.
ZebraQR is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of ZebraQR after a change means you accept the updated policy.
